History & Origin

Where Preda Was Born The Story of Go+ Cafe'

On October 16, 2003, Arkhom (Kee) and Thumavadee (Pook) Suwannakheeta opened a small coffee shop in the heart of Lampang city under the name "Go+ Cafe'" built on a simple but profound belief: "Ordinary is Special." Their mission was straightforward: bring happiness to every single cup of coffee they served.

Unsatisfied with the quality of coffee available in the market, Arkhom began searching for better answers. Three years later, in 2006, that relentless pursuit led to the founding of Preda Roasting House a small roastery built specifically to supply Go+ Cafe' with fresher, higher-quality beans.

That's the origin story: Go+ Cafe' is the "mother" that gave birth to Preda, and Preda is the "child" that grew up to win international innovation awards in Europe and beyond. The two have never been separated same owners, same philosophy, same cup.

OCTOBER 16, 2003

Go+ Cafe' Opens Its Doors

Arkhom and Thumavadee open a small coffee shop in Lampang with the philosophy "Ordinary is Special" every guest deserves happiness in every cup.

2006

Preda Roasting House is Founded

After 3 years of running Go+ Cafe', the need for better quality beans led to the creation of Preda Roasting House Lampang's first specialty coffee roastery.

2017

Yeast Fermentation Innovation

Preda develops a wine-industry-inspired yeast fermentation technique for coffee processing, earning 2 Gold Medals at EUROINVENT in Romania.

2018

LTLH Drying World Recognition

Low Temperature Low Humidity (LTLH) drying is developed preserving full flavor profiles and eliminating the risk of Ochratoxin A from mold exposure.
