Q: How long is the course, and where is it held?

A: It is a 2-day intensive course (08:00 – 18:00 on Day 1 and 08:00 – 17:45 on Day 2) held at Preda Coffee Roasting House in Lampang. [Click to view map]

Q: Who are the instructors?

A: Led by Kie (Arkhom Suwannakita), Head Roastmaster and author of Simplicity in Coffee Roasting, and Puk (Thumawadee Suwannakita), Director of Preda. You will also be closely guided by our highly experienced Roastmaster and QC teams throughout the 2 days.

Q: What is the focus of the curriculum?

A: We focus on developing professional roasters who truly "understand and can execute." Based on the Simplicity in Coffee Roasting philosophy, the curriculum dives deep into roasting science (Chemical Engineering & Energy Tech) and includes hands-on workshops using 3 different types of roasting machines.

Q: What is the tuition fee?

A: The full price is 29,000 THB. This is an all-inclusive rate covering everything from start to finish:

Learning: Online Pre-course (Videos + Green Bean Kit delivered to your home) and the 2-day on-site Workshop.
Accommodation: 2 nights of stay to ensure you are well-rested and can commute to class conveniently.
Meals: Lunch, dinner (on Day 1), and refreshments provided throughout the course.
Materials: All green beans for roasting practice and complete course handbooks.

Q: What kind of accommodation is provided?

A: We have hand-picked clean, convenient, and safe accommodations in Lampang, located near the Preda Roasting House, to ensure you are ready for learning each morning.

Q: Is there a discount for locals or those who do not require accommodation?

A: For these specific cases, please contact our admin team directly for personalized assistance and details.

Q: How does the "Duo Promotion" (2 people) work?

A: If you sign up with a partner, the price is reduced to 26,900 THB per person (a discount of 2,100 THB each). The condition is a combined deposit payment of 26,900 THB.

Q: Is there a promotion for individual sign-ups?

A: Yes, we offer an Early Bird discount of 1,500 THB, bringing the price down to 27,500 THB. This applies when the deposit is paid at least 2 months prior to the class date.

Q: What are the available dates for 2026?

A: There are 7 classes available in 2026 (2 days per class):

Q: Can I change my class date or get a refund after paying the deposit?

A: You may request to change your class session (subject to availability and review). However, deposits are non-refundable in all cases.
